Naturism

WHAT IS NATURISM ? AND WHY NATURISM ?

WHAT IS NATURISM ?

A RETURN TO THE ROOTS

Naturism is a way of life involving public nudity with respect for oneself, others and nature. Naturists often see it as synonymous with wellbeing and freedom. It puts us in touch with nature. Man is born naked so naturism is a continuation.

At Heliomonde experience naturism at your own pace!

Here is where nudity is compulsory at our naturist centre and where clothing is allowed.

Compulsory

Swimming pool, Sauna, Turkish bath, Relaxation room

Not compulsory

Subject to weather conditions : apart from the aforementioned places, naturism is only compulsory weather permitting. Subject to sport : clothing is allowed in the Gym and outside if you’re doing sport (tennis, running, cycling, hiking...). At the "L'Auberge d'Héliomonde" Restaurant.

Naturism for women: 1st time

To help you settle in, you can wear a sarong outside and in the restaurant. For hygiene and mutual respect, the use of a towel is compulsory wherever you sit : sauna, Turkish bath, chairs, deckchairs, bike saddles, electric car seats etc.

WHY NATURISM ?

ENJOYMENT

Wear your swimsuit in the bath and you’ll understand !

OPEN-MINDEDNESS, MODESTY

How do you measure modesty in centimetres of fabric?

MUTUAL RESPECT AND SAFETY

We don’t see each other as lumps of flesh and measurements; we see each other as people! We don’t look at each other’s bottoms because we’ve seen it all before : We see each other for who we are!

SELF-RESPECT

Don’t worry about how you look and how people see you !

HEALTH

Scientific studies have come up with the following findings: Skin exposed to mild sunlight all year round throughout the seasons looks and is healthy. Mild sunshine repairs collagen. Sun on the skin reduces bad cholesterol and produces vitamin D. Sun on the neck reduces the risk of thyroid problems. Mild sunshine on the body encourages good hormonal balance. Walking in the nude encourages good fat and cellular renewal to work and helps eliminate bad fat. Exposing the entire body to daylight in any season is also vital to avoiding reduced brain function.

Last but not least, naturism is great for our self-image, boosting self-esteem and confidence in others to combat depression in any season. Try it for yourself with a unique experience “in the nude” in a natural setting
